Areté Foundation is an experienced community of educators and art therapists who combine expertise from various fields of inclusive art..
We offer original projects and workshops that integrate our long-term experience in artistic activities with advanced knowledge in working with disadvantaged groups. We create innovative solutions at the intersection of culture and social inclusion, tailored to participants’ needs. All our activities are conducted according to principles of accessibility, sustainability, and social participation.
Art Therapy Workshop Series – “Mirror of Fairy Tales”
Workshops are based on fairy tale therapy, using stories as a tool for symbolic exploration of themes such as transformation, inner strength, crisis, and recovery. Fairy tales serve as a starting point for reflection on personal history, beliefs, and experiences.
The topic of identity is explored through applied drama, authentic/spontaneous movement and dance, voice work, relaxation techniques, and visual arts. Circle-based methods and body-centered exercises support emotional and social integration, while drama engages participants in reflection through body, emotion, and action. This combination offers participants experience and embodiment, rather than just knowledge.
Expected Outcomes:
Development of social, communicational, and emotional skills.
Increased self-awareness, sense of identity, confidence, and agency.
Enhanced psychological resilience through creative processes, relaxation, and personal exploration using artistic metaphors.
Building an inclusive community space based on empathy and creativity.

Workshop methods are adapted to the needs of participants with diverse disabilities, ensuring accessibility in communication, space, and social interaction.
